Coronavirus.  This is updated regularly as the situation changes.

We are continuing to carry out essential repairs but not for annual servicing. 
We are suspending annual servicing for the time being until the situation has become manageable and stable. 
We all need to minimise social contact as much as is possible.

We are  doing everything we can to  avoid the engineer who visits your house being a conduit for the virus to spread.  Your engineer will endeavour to always practice social separation methods.


This will help us to be able to provide essential repair services to you while also helping to protect you from inadvertently picking up an infection as an unintended consequence of the visit from the engineer.


He will always try to :

1. Minimise the amount of interaction with the customer and  Keep at least 2 meters ( 7 Feet ) away from them. 


2. Wash his hands with soap and water and dry them ( using his own towel which he brings with him  ) on arrival and before leaving and he uses a water free alcohol based  hand sanitizer between visits to customers throughout the day.


3. All the other actions and advice which we are following is listed in our document on   Coronavirus. 


  • If you are in a high risk group and have been told to self-isolate for 12 weeks then we will agree to coming to you if that is what you want. Please let us know when you book the job in and we will take this into account while in your home.
  • If you are in the Shielded group of people then we will not be permitted to come into your hose except for emergencies. 
  • In the event that your Service engineer becomes infected with the virus then you will be contacted to rearrange your scheduled appointment for after the self-isolation period and is well enough to return to work.
  • In the event that someone in your household has begun to show the symptoms of the virus and you have to self-isolate then you must cancel your appointment with us, because we will not be allowed to enter your home. 

We will not charge a fee for cancelling the appointment at short notice because of the need to self-isolate.
